In partnership with Perlis Dolomite Sdn Bhd, Terra Minerals is proud to embark on a significant venture with a 21-year concession for dolomite mining.
Our operations are based in Chuping, Perlis, an area renowned for its rich deposits of high-magnesium (MgO) dolomite. The mining quarry spans 47 hectares, with an estimated production capacity of up to 50,000 metric tonnes per month.
To meet the increasing demand for dolomite in industrial applications, Terra Minerals has established a state-of-the-art factory that enhances our production capabilities. Our vision is to become the largest dolomite producer in Perlis, driving growth and innovation in the region's mineral industry.

Our Packaging
Terra Minerals deliver our product in 3 sizes of packaging in Jumbo Bags (1.5 Tonne), 50 kg and 25 kg bags. We also provide OEM services to fertilizer distribution companies to print their own bags and packed with their own branding.

The Process

Packaging
Dolomite rock will harvested from the rock face located near the quarry and transported to the factory for processing.
Harvested dolomite rocks are then sent to our impact crushers and hammer mills for crushing into different sizes.
Crushed rocks enter a vibrating screen to sieve the dolomite into different sizes and then stored in designated silos.
Upon storage, the dolomite is then packaged in gurney sacks or jumbo bags according to client's specifications and requirements.

Dolomite is an anhydrous carbonate mineral which comprises of calcium and magnesium which is used in applications such as steel-making, glass manufacturing, and agriculture sector.
Steel Industry
In steelmaking dolomite is used both as a fluxing material and also as a refractory material.
Glass Manufacturer
Dolomite powder can act as a flux, reduce glass aging, increase glass strength and improve the colored glass's plasticity.
Agriculture
Dolomite as a soil amendment adjusts the soil pH value for plants to solve the problems of slow growth, poor maturity and death caused by urea fertilizers. It can also increase crop yields by 15-40%.
Steel
Terra Minerals offers a number dolomite products aimed at the steel industry. The different requests and requirements of our customers determine the optimal product for delivery. Customers can always rest assured that they are receiving a quality product for their steel products.
Glass
Dolomite is a very useful mineral in the glass industry since Calcium Oxide and Magnesium Oxide perform the role of network modifiers in the glass manufacturing process. High-grade dolomite with Iron and Silica content as low as possible is required by the glass Industry. Our dolomite is typified by its purity and consistency.
Agriculture
Dolomite is a great source of magnesium and hence discovers an excellent utility in the industry of fertilization and soil conditioning. Dolomite can respond with acetic, this is also used as a soil conditioner. Our dolomite has the highest percentage of magnesium content which is about 20% - 21%. The value of calcium meanwhile, is between 30% to 34%.
